Last year, Hybrid released a fully orchestral album titled simply, “Orchestral.”

It’s a collection of tracks from several albums, from Wide Angle to I Choose Noise to Disappear Here.

Most of Hybrid’s stuff is ambient/breakbeat, but these fully orchestral tracks are brilliant. “Keep It in the Family” sounds like it would be right at home in a scifi thriller akin to Inception.

On a side note, I’d been trying out rdio for a while, but canceled my subscription today. Their android app is simply too flakey to justify $10/month.

Plus they only have like, one and a half Hybrid albums on there.

If you want me to stop gushing about the electronica masterpieces this Welsh group puts out, tell me. I f’n love Hybrid.

Have I mentioned how much I cannot get enough of Hybrid?
