If you’re a Fortune 500 company, chances are very good you’ve already been hacked and may not even realize it.
“We see traditional countries, that we’ve always been concerned about, ah, increasing their attempts [at hacking] and certainly their successes.” - like Israel with Stuxnet, right? and Flame?
Reuters, you showed a misleading headline there - paraphrased to ‘Flame virus found in Iran.’
That doesn’t mean Iran made it. It means someone made it and probably targeted Iran with it.
It was probably made by an ally of the United States. So not only did Reuters show a misleading headline, they quoted - and did not correct - the interviewee when he blamed an increase in state actors in hacking and virus development on “countries we’ve always been concerned about.”
The increase is amongst the U.S. and its allies, not the other way around.
Should’ve pulled a Will McAvoy and called them on their bullshit.
