Hey Tumblr friends - We’re looking for an Intern to work with the Content Team here in our New York City office.
You’ll gain exposure to the day-to-day management of our content library, work on the set of The Show You’re Watching, and pick-up significant experience and insight into what makes a web show successful. This is a great position for someone willing to get their hands dirty and learn by doing.
The ideal candidate is knowledgeable about online video - but we’re happy to show an eager newcomer the ins and outs of the industry. This is also a great opportunity to shoot Nerf guns while on the job and eat free lunch with the Blip team everyday.
Applicant must be able to earn school credit for the semester. Apply here.
Past your intern days? We’re also hiring for positions with our other teams here.

We’re very excited to introduce the three newest producers in the Blip Studios family: Julian Smith, KipKay, and The Cinema Snob!
- Actor and filmmaker Julian Smith brings comedy in small doses that reflect real-life situations.
- A self-taught “tinkerer,” KipKay realized he could fuse his interest of electronics and video production by creating how-to videos on the internet, leading to KipKay Videos, a treasure trove of cool tricks and pranks for the DIY-er.
- Brad Jones portrays the The Cinema Snob, a pretentious film critic with a penchant for reviewing Z-grade exploitation films.
As Tubefilter notes, each one of “[t]heir successes make them great role models for young, aspiring creators,” and we’re proud to partner with such talented producers. Welcome aboard guys!

Pilot episode for a new web series, Whole Day Down. Starring Willie Garson (White Collar) and Patrick Breen (various TV and Broadway).
Really funny. And really excited to see someone like Willie Garson getting in on a web series.
The Nostalgia Chick vs The Lion King 3D
The beloved, not-so beloved, much griped-about Disney classic has been rereleased in 3D! But does the 3D add anything that wasn’t already there, and is the Lion King really as great as we remember?
